The Gunner profile merges the best features of two renowned barrel designs: the durability of the Government profile and the lightweight maneuverability of the Pencil profile. This combination shifts the rifle's balance toward the shooter, reducing fatigue and enabling extended shooting, training, or hunting sessions with ease.

Crafted for exceptional value, Faxon Firearms barrels are made in-house in Cincinnati, Ohio. Each barrel undergoes meticulous processes, including full stress relief, air-gauge testing, and an 11-degree target crown, to ensure outstanding accuracy. Starting with premium materials—certified 4150 Mil-Spec steel or 416-R Stainless—every barrel is rigorously tested throughout production. Finished with a durable Nitride coating and precision-inspected for headspace using PTG gauges, Faxon barrels deliver unmatched performance and reliability.
