The Hawken’s larger bore and excellent accuracy ensured westward-bound explorers had a rifle that would decisively handle any beast encountered along the trail.  This model is equipped with a fast twist 1:24 50 caliber barrel to provide maximum performance to all modern hunting projectiles.  It utilizes a rear ghost ring style sight to give the fastest possible sight acquisition.
