It has some pitting from past rust that has been cleaned up and removed, The butt plate has been replaced with a rubber aftermarket pad that is starting to crack. It appear that the front bead sight has been re-attached, the finish is discolored and needs to be re-blued. This is the predecessor to the 1100 and works on the same long recoil principle as the original Browning A5.  

She's not pretty but will clean up nice.  Cheap and functional
